HMGT UMGC Health Care Code of Ethics & Gender Competitiveness in Sports Discussions
I’m studying and need help with a Psychology question to help me learn.
Health executives have a code of ethics and policy statements which guide their behavior. Examine one of the policy statements provided by ACHE.org and comment on how this code may differ in nature than the health care provider codes. Be specific. Do you see any ethical issues emerging out of health care reform yet are not consider in the ACHE documents? Peers are expected to demonstrate critical thinking in their questions related to the classmates’ descriptions. See Discussion Expectations and Grading for rules on discussions.

In competitive and professional sports, should participants be grouped according to biological sex or gender identity? Is it ever necessary for sports to categorize participants based on sex and gender? Write an essay of 200-400 words addressing these questions and give at least two examples to support your conclusion. Remember to post responses (75-100 words each) to at least two of your classmates.
Psy Discussion #2
This week, we reviewed the OCEAN personality traits. Briefly give examples of how these manifest in real life from both the low and high ends. For example, someone high in conscientiousness would slow down and allow someone else to merge in front of them where someone low in this domain would speed up, even causing the other driver to miss an exit.
After you have explained each domain, state where you see yourself, providing an example for each area. Lastly, do you think these can change over time, or are they hardwired in? Why?
